Matt Grocott is a graduate of Clemson University's College of Architecture with a Bachelor of Science in Design, 1981
His experience in the field of architecture and design is varied, having worked for a number of firms before starting his own business in 1993. A few of those firms include:

° Fletemeyer Associates, Landscape Architecture, Boulder, CO
° Architectural Interiors Collaberative, Danville, CA
Since 1993, Matt has been a professional member of the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD). He has served as the Golden Gate Chapter President and as a Director (representative) to AIBD's California State Society.
In addition to his professional career, Matt has served as a San Carlos City Council member since 2001; in 2004 he was Vice-Mayor and in 2005 he served as Mayor.
